Prof. P. P. Vaidyanathan has been with the Electrical Engineering department of the California Institute of Technology since 1983. His main research interests are in digital signal processing, sparse array signal processing, spectrum sensing and applications, multirate systems and filter banks, wavelet transforms, compressive sensing and sparse reconstruction, genomic signal processing, and signal processing for digital communications.
