Bin Li
Bin Li is an associate professor in the School of Electrical Engineering and Computer Science at the Pennsylvania State University, University Park, PA, and is also affiliated with the Institute for Networking and Security Research (INSR). He received his B.S. degree in Electronic and Information Engineering, M.S. degree in Communication and Information Engineering, both from Xiamen University, and Ph.D. degree in Electrical and Computer Engineering from The Ohio State University (OSU). He was a Postdoctoral Researcher in the Coordinated Science Lab at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign (UIUC).  His research focuses on the intersection of networking, machine learning, and system development, and their applications in networking for virtual/augmented/mixed reality, digital twins, mobile edge computing, and Internet-of-Things (IoT). He has served as Associate Editor for IEEE/ACM Transactions on Networking (ToN), IEEE Transactions on Mobile Computing (TMC), and IEEE Transactions on Network Science and Engineering (TNSE). He has also served on the technical committees of several major networking conferences, such as ACM MobiHoc, IEEE INFOCOM, and WiOpt. He is a senior member of the IEEE and a member of the ACM. He received both the National Science Foundation (NSF) CAREER Award and Google Faculty Research Award in 2020, ACM MobiHoc 2018 Best Poster Award, IEEE INFOCOM 2023 Best Demo Award, ACM MobiHoc 2023 Best Poster/Demo Award, and IEEE VR 2024 Best Demo Honorable Mention Award.
