For students in Class of 2024 and 2025:

Electrical Engineering Minor

ECSE 2010 - Electric Circuits Credit Hours: 4

ECSE 2410 - Signals and Systems Credit Hours: 3

ECSE 2610 - Computer Components and Operations Credit Hours: 4

ECSE 2900 - ECSE Enrichment Seminar Credit Hours: 1

Approved ECSE Elective Credit Hours: 3–4

Computer and Systems Engineering Minor

ECSE 2010 - Electric Circuits Credit Hours: 4

ECSE 2610 - Computer Components and Operations Credit Hours: 4

ECSE 2660 - Computer Architecture, Networks, and Operating Systems Credit Hours: 4

ECSE 2900 - ECSE Enrichment Seminar Credit Hours: 1

For students in Class of 2026 and later:

Electrical Engineering Minor

At least 15 credits from the options below.

Required courses:

ECSE 2010 - Electric Circuits Credit Hours: 4

One of the following 4 courses: ECSE 2100 – Fields and Waves I Credit Hours: 4, ECSE 2110 – Electrical Energy Systems Credit Hours: 3, ECSE 2050 – Intro to Electronics Credit Hours: 4,  ECSE 2410 - Signals and Systems Credit Hours: 3

ECSE 2900  – ECSE Enrichment Seminar Credit Hours: 1

A 4000-level ECSE course Credit Hours: 3 – 4

Elective courses*:

Any ECSE courses at 2000-level and above.

Students can take as many elective courses as necessary to satisfy the rules above.

Computer and Systems Engineering Minor

At least 15 credits from the options below.

Required courses:

ECSE 2610  – Computer Components and Operations Credit Hours: 4

ECSE 2660  – Computer Architecture, Networks, and Operating Systems Credit Hours: 4

ECSE 2900  – ECSE Enrichment Seminar Credit Hours: 1

A 4000-level ECSE course Credit Hours: 3 – 4  or a 4000-level Computer Engineering Elective Credit Hours: 3 – 4

Any ECSE courses at 2000-level and above.

CSCI 1200  – Data Structures Credit Hours: 4

CSCI 2200  – Foundation of Computer Science Credit Hours: 4
